Turn off the phone

Whether the mobile phone falls into the water or the waterfalls on the phone - whatever it is, turn off the phone immediately. And if it is attached to the charger, there is no question. Immediately remove from the charger. Don't forget to charge the phone while it is wet.

If your phone is an older model, you may have the option to remove the battery. In that case, remove the battery.

The fastest damage to water for water is that it shortens the circuits on the phone's motherboard. This means "short circuit". If you are a science student, you must know what a short circuit is. 

It is to your credit to have an idea about the short circuit thing even if you are a student of another department. This happens if electricity is flowing on your phone while it is wet. Wash the phone

Can use silica gel

Don't forget the hairdryer or oven.

Many people use a hairdryer to dry the phone. But if you do it with clumsy hands, the heat of the hairdryer can damage your phone. And don't forget to put the phone in the microwave oven like a fool and try to dry it so as not to throw the phone in the dustbin!

Wait for it to dry

Wait for your phone to dry. It is advisable not to keep it in direct sunlight. If you have hardware geek type and you have home appliances, you can open the parts of the phone and let them dry separately.

Run to the service center

If you can't do so, switch off the phone without sitting down, turn off the battery (if possible) and go straight to the service center or to the mobile repair shop. Don't waste any time. If you are not unlucky enough, your phone will continue to run as before.
